The House:

Our house is a large Victorian Style Home in a quiet residential Street in Shirley, Southampton. We are close to local amenities, including post office, banks, shops, public houses, health services and restaurants. We are within walking distance to the city centre and public transport is easily accessible for trips around Southampton and beyond. 

The house consists of the following

• 6 spacious single occupancy bedrooms

• 3 bathrooms

• Fully equipped kitchen

• Living /dining room

• 2 Quiet rooms

• Staff Office/Meeting Room

• Garden

• Personal effects and cherished possessions are welcomed into residents’ rooms provided they comply with our health and safety standards.

• The accommodation is maintained to a high standard. All necessary maintenance is part of a planned approach to maintaining comfort, safety and security for our residents.

• Free Wi-Fi is available in residents’ rooms and communal areas.

 

Safety and Security:

·      Every bedroom has a fire door and is lockable for privacy and security.

·      A telephone is available for emergency and for supported use.

·      Staff undertake relevant continual training including the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults, Mental Capacity and Deprivation of Liberties and Care Certificate

·      We comply with all fire and safety legislation requirements.

·      A “No Smoking” policy exists indoors.
